"What is the best diet? Can dieting be bad for you?" 2009-04-18
By Maria Thomen (Dominican Republic)
Nowadays, there are a lot of diets that claim to be the be-all and the end-all. This book demystifies many popular diets and explains in simple terms what your body needs for you to be healthy.

When I was told I had to lose 30 pounds, I thought of going to a doctor to avoid damaging my health by cutting necessary nutrients out of my intake. Then my own doctor told me the only way to lose weight is to eat less. That and exercise seem to be the key to fitness and weight loss. Anybody with a serious weight problem should see a specialist. And it has often been said that before you begin a diet and /or exercise plan you should see a doctor.

 "NOT A SECRET FORMULA" 2008-09-18
By Delaney (WI)
This information in here is not a secret formula. However, it is important information and it is well grounded information that you should put into effect in your life.

If you've read a million diet books, this one is not going to give you surprise information. However, this book is not about propaganda and getting you to buy the latest whacky gadget to bend you in half and flip you over. This book will tell you how and why diets do and don't work. It will tell you what you need to do to be at your best.

What will you get, really good information on how to live your life healthfully. I refer to this book often and I have purchased it and given it to people who are struggling with getting their lives in order. This book simply makes sense, and there isn't anything in here involving hype and gimmicks. I checked this book out from my library first and decided that I wanted this information on hand and so I bought it. This book also talks about eating disorders, the difference between well known diets, different approaches to weight loss. It is more than worth the read. This book will help you find the sanity in dieting.

It takes only 13 weeks—three months—one season—and you're on your way to permanent, healthy weight loss. Based on the Glycemic Index, and developed by Rick Gallop, author of the New York Times bestselling G.I. Diet, The G.I. Diet Clinic is a complete weight-loss plan that incorporates recipes, meal plans—from breakfast through a late-night snack—motivational techniques and tips, and the inspirational real life stories of dozens of participants from G.I. Diet online workshops, where the average dieter lost 26 pounds—in 13 weeks!

The claim to the G.I. Diet has always been its simplicity: If you can follow a traffic light, you can follow the diet. What Gallop does in The G.I. Diet Clinic is show not only how the specifics of the diet work, but how to survive, enjoy, and ultimately embrace a new way of eating. With a different chapter for each week, Gallop covers meal planning, and how to convert a family's favorite foods into "green light" dishes. He writes about behavior change and what to do when temptation's too strong and you temporarily fall off the wagon; here, the combination of insightful tips (distract yourself with an activity; pinpoint the exact flavor you want) and encouraging comments from fellow dieters really helps. And he discusses exercise, dining out, unrealistic expectations, emotional eating, and "the plateau"— how to stay focused and motivated enough to cross it.

Included are 65 delicious green-light recipes, from Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes, Rigatoni with Mini Meatballs, and Mushroom-and-Gravy Pork Chops to Apple Raspberry Coffee Cake and Pecan Brownies. That’s right: brownies.

 "The GI Diet Works!" 2009-12-03

Before I bought this book from Amazon, I did a review of many diets and realized that the core of most diets is the glycemic index. I am surprised at the foods you can eat and the restrictions on foods listed I can live with...I've lost 8 lbs. so far and I am not finding it difficult to do. Give this book a look!

 "Not for busy singles" 2008-12-05
By TheCafeWriter (Chicago, IL USA)
I have no problem with the content per se. The diet itself with the red/yellow/green light layout is easy to understand. However, like all of Mr. Gallop's other books, this is very, very recipe-oriented, and with the exception of omelets and salads, nearly all the other recipes are for at least 4 people. That's fine if you're cooking for a family and your evening schedule is somewhat leisurely. For busy singles - or even the rushed family member eating solo - who just want to assemble a quick meal, there's no alternatives offered in any of the menu plans. The author assumes that you're always cooking for 4 people, at least two, and sometimes 6 or 8. His premise is that you have more time to spend cooking each and every night. (Frankly, if that were the case, I wouldn't have needed books like Mr. Gallop's in the first place.)

I like his approach, but it's just not just user-friendly for busy singles, hence the lower stars.

"Great cookbook includes staples and new dishes too!" 2008-05-28
By Art Educ8 (Chicago, IL)
I was given this book as a gift after I had started the GI diet. I find myself time and time again going back to my favorite recipes in this book. My favorites include the black bean burritos, strawberry tea bread, carrot muffins, tortilla chips, Mediterranean summer salad, black bean tabbouleh, falafel with yogurt mint sauce, barley risotto, coconut curry beef, bacon and egg muffins, and apple burritos. Can you tell I love this cookbook?

I find a lot of great recipes that fix my cravings for ethnic foods and just as many that fit the bill for your basic American fare. I would recommend this cookbook to anyone, not just those trying to lose weight. It has very sensible and delicious recipes that are easy to follow and turn out great.

I love Jillian Michaels.. I have her 30 day shred DVD which I use frequently. I bought this book looking for inspiration and a better eating/lifestyle guide. I'm a vegetarian and did not think that would necessarily be a problem, but most of the recipes are aimed at meat-eaters, so if you're a vegetarian, I would suggest just googling weight-loss inspirational articles and healthy vegetarian recipes.

 "Holds a lazy girl's interest" 2009-12-21
By chelleedub (Chesapeake, VA)
A coworker offered to loan me this book after a conversation we had about how discouraged I felt about losing weight. I was a bit skeptical at first; even though I watch The Biggest Loser, I think the show is overexposed and I wasn't sure how fresh and captivating the book would be.

This particular book is meant for people of an average or better fitness level with 20 lbs or fewer to lose, so right off the bat I liked that it's specifically geared toward me. It's divided into 3 parts: diet, exercise, and supplements.

The diet portion actually contains meal plans and grocery lists for 3 different metabolism types. I was surprised to see which type I am, and although I don't follow the specific meal plan/grocery list, I have already seen a difference in my energy level and cravings (I'm on Day 4) from eating healthfully and using the ideology behind fast oxidization. The book also includes healthy recipes.

The fitness portion is wonderful. It has tons of pages of exercises with illustrations and written directions. Because there are so many, I find the index quite useful. I recommend taking 5 minutes to familiarize yourself with all the exercises in a given day before you even hit the gym. It will save you a lot of page flipping! Each daily workout is comprised of about 5 cicuits. The workout is different every single day for the whole 30 days, which I love, love, love! Basically you'll do resistance training and calisthenics, followed by a minute of cardio in every circuit. Jillian even tells you how to figure out how much weight to use (when applicable). She recommends followed each 45 minute workout with 15 minutes of cardio. There are also days off built in, and not necessarily where you'd expect!

The final section of the book addresses the many supplements out there. Not certain brands, but the ingredients themselves. She goes into what each one actually does, how well it works, who should take it, how much to take and when, and what to combine it with. She also goes into which supplements to avoid and why. I found this section very enlightening and invaluable. I was able to choose a caffeinated, fat burning supplement with the knowledge that I had the ingredients present in the dosage I wanted, as opposed to just picking one at random off a shelf. Nice!

I think the best thing about this book is that it has breathed new life into my fitness regimen. I'm now excited and committed to going to the gym, because every day is like a surprise and that makes it really fun! I feel energized and proud afterwards. I am of barely average fitness and I find the workouts challenging, but not exhausting. I feel enough soreness the next day that I know I worked hard, but that I'm not in pain. And I love the way she works out the front of your body one day and the back the next! I showed this book to my personal trainer to use during our sessions, and she wants to buy a copy, as well.

My main gripe other than the kindle version is the way she hawks her website and services.

"The Clutter Diet...say, "Goodbye diet, hello lifestyle!"" 2009-04-08
By S. Maxwell (CT USA)
Admittedly, when I first opened "The Clutter Diet ®," I did not expect any new theories on the art of organization. However, Lorie Marrero attacks clutter from every angle--psychological to practical; her methods will surely set most clutter bugs abuzz to reevaluate and apply her myriad ideas, findings and conclusions. I mean, how many professional organizers can say that they started the practice of taming the maze of paperwork in grammar school? Interestingly, in grammar school, Lorie purchased a label maker with her allowance money only to spend her recess periods organizing the contents in her classmates' desks! If that does not get your attention, consider the fact that she and her husband moved 11 times, two kids in tow, and built four houses.

I also appreciated Lorie's gentle approach. "The Clutter Diet®" is like a knowledgeable, hardcore coach, who does not forsake the readers' human side, and affirms them constantly. In this vein, I love Lorie reminding us that sometimes our self-critique of "good; imperfect; so-so" is "good enough!" Wow, does that take the stress out of the organizational process; and, speaking of process, like any good diet, Lorie's book gives many resources, including a free companion workbook as well as online aids, to make the clutter diet not a temporary fly-by-night option, but a permanent, lifestyle change.

In fact, as a self-proclaimed organization freak on a constant mission to squelch clutter, I teach classes on book writing/publishing and spend a good deal of time discussing how clutter can sabotage goal planning. My classroom philosophy is: How can you write the book of your dreams when you cannot even find a piece of paper in your office? After reading "The Clutter Diet ®," I made it a part of my curriculum; which brings me to conclude, if you want to unleash yourself from the chains of clutter so you can start implementing your dreams into reality, start by reading Lorie's book.

I haven't seen a book quite like Lorie Marrero's "The Clutter Diet." For one thing, it is integrated with a website. You can download useful organizer items for free there ("Clutter Prevention Wallet Sleeves", and she also has a forum and a mailing list. Secondly, its 260 pages are packed full of practical suggestions. For example, Lorie suggests buying dark clothing to mimimize stains, finding a motivation partner, turning your thoughts positive, planning before shopping, and using use a timer while cleaning. She also offers many useful suggestions on how to organize your mail, deal with your messy children, managing gift giving, selecting home storage units, getting rid of unecessary possesions, and other topics too numerous to mention. Even the most anal-retentive organized person can benefit from her suggestions. And, for messy individuals, it is a wonderful resource.

"The Clutter Diet - slimming down your household's waste" 2009-03-15
By H. Perkins (Boston, USA)
The Clutter Diet: The Skinny on Organizing Your Home and Taking Control of Your Life

With Lori's metaphor of dieting, you could say this book is all about waste reduction for your house, if you'll pardon the pun. Her different take on an old topic gives it a freshness that helps to distinguish it from the crowd of other organizing books out there.

And just like the other type of dieting, Lori takes us through the key steps we need to take to get started - and to stay on track - to reduce the clutter in our lives, from finding the motivation, to getting the education we need on how to do it, to knowing where and how to find the support we need to keep it all going.

The book has lots of simple but practical tips and techniques (food shopping? Get the family to write things down once they need to be replaced and only buy what's on your grocery list), together with a handy 'Clutter Fitness Exercise' at the end of each chapter to reinforce what we've learned.

She also helps us strip the fat away from less tangible modern-day clutter that tends to accumulate in the form of junk mail, email spam and the results of poor time management. (Check out the excellent tip on using the Rules engine in Outlook).

The final section of the book nicely reinforces the dieting metaphor with a selection of 'recipes' that are full of ideas on organizing and keeping control of specific rooms and important spaces in your house, whether it's your home office or your utility room.

A pleasant layout and (of course) uncluttered design make this book easy to use and enjoyable to read. One small area for improvement: It might have been a good idea to include an Index, especially given the book's topic.

 "The Clutter Diet Delivers" 2009-03-13

Have you tried to keep organized, but have only succeeded in fits and starts? That is where The Clutter Diet: The Skinny on Organizing Your Home and Taking Control of Your Life by Lorie Marrero, Austin, Texas: Reason Press, 2009 comes in. Lorie is a certified professional organizer and her expertise shines in this helpful book.

An outstanding feature of the book is that it is elegantly designed:

* It is so easy to follow along with the ideas

* The light blue shading used in some areas is calming

* The print is large and well-spaced

One would expect a book on organizing to be, well, organized, but it certainly is nice to have my expectations met. Each chapter ends with a clutter fitness exercise so you can follow through with the ideas.

Not surprisingly, this book probably appeals to women more than men. I would still encourage other men to read it. Organization in a shared household works best with a shared plan of organization.

The ideas make good sense and are realistic. The book was enjoyable to read and I know I will benefit from having read it.

"Be Healthier and Prevent Disease" 2009-09-01

I eliminated red meat from my diet years ago and have been maintaining a flexitarian way of eating without knowing the name for it. The information and advice Blatner presents in this book is concise and reliable. You CAN loose weight, be healthier and be more disease free. I'm doing it! The recipes are numerous, varied, very tasty and satisfying. They are also easy and quick to cook. The Pantry Staples List and the weekly shopping lists are invaluable. The pantry list enabled me to easily switch over the ingredients I keep on hand. The shopping lists take the drudgery out of shopping and I can spend that time on cooking and enjoying the meals.

I would recommend this author and specifically this book to any one looking to eat healthier and be more disease free.

 "Great lifestyle plan" 2009-07-08
By Lee-Lee (NJ, USA)
I have been interested in vegetarian diet plans for many years but have found it hard to stick to 100%. Vegan? Forget it. But vegetarian is easier to follow and enjoyable for me. However, I found that I was one of those people who needed more protein and found vegetarian ptotein substitutes just didn't work for me. This book gave me the option to have the "on again, off again" veggie lifestyle that I was looking for. The science made a lot of sense, the plan is extremely easy to stick to and took out some of the "guilt" of being the almost-veggie that I've been for years. This is a great plan for people like me who want healthy options but want a wider variety of foods.

"How To Become A Vegetarian In 8,000,000 Steps" 2009-06-03
By celtic melody (Chicago)
That's the number of daily meal combinations that you can create Dawn Jackson Blatner's mix and match menus/recipes. Part 1 explains her purpose behind the five by five by five plan: five is the average number of ingredients people run into the grocery store to buy after work for that night's dinner. Five small meals a day to fuel your metabolism: 300 calorie breakfast, 400 calorie lunch, 500 calorie dinner, and 2 150- calorie snacks which equals 1500 calories a day. Need only 1200 calories? No problem eliminate snacks. Need 1800 calories? No problem. Double up breakfast. That's the whole point of being FLEXIBLE. The calorie count design allows me to be lazy and have the occasional Amy's Mattar Paneer Tofu(vegan) with a broiled banana for dinner without feeling like I've blown anything. It even has a quiz where you can see where you are one the flexitarian scale.

Part 2: Introduces you to some vegetarian foods you may not be familiar with if you are a carnivore. She also talks to you about setting up your healthy pantry, getting in more fruits and veggies (even into the picky veggie-hating eaters in your family. Nuts, cheese, and barbeque or sweet and sour sauce anyone? There is a chart that tells you how long to cook different grains such as quinoa, teff, kasha etc. I love the fact that this info is all in handy chart form making it easy to use for those of us, like me, with short attention spans.

Part 3 has those mix-and-match meal plans that I love so much. She has 5 different week with 7 breakfasts, 7 lunches, 7 dinners, and 7 snacks complete with shopping lists should you want to follow the plan exactly. Note: the shopping lists assume you've stocked your pantry so, if you skipped that part, you might want to go back and reread it.

All the recipes are for one person which it ideal for those of us who are the only vegetarians in our family. But, you can easily double, triple, or quadruple the recipes to fit your family needs. I consider this a plus. I've bought quite a few vegetarian cookbooks that make 4, 6, even 8 portions. WAY too much for me.

This book is great for anyone who wants to be vegetarian some, most, or all of the time, and is just too TIRED to plan it all out.

Incidentally, I tried this for 3 weeks before posting a review. I found that I ate vegan 20 out of 21 of those days simply because those are the recipes I picked. I substituted soy and almond milk for regular milk, scrambled tofu for scrambled eggs, and soy yogurt and vegan cheese (note: some "vegetarian cheeses have casein so read labels). My point being that you CAN use this book if you or someone in your family is vegan. Oh. And, I lost 8 lbs. Not too shabby.

The concept for this book is brilliant. Many people don't want to commit to becoming vegetarian but they want to reduce their meat intake. This book is a wonderful guide on easing your way into reducing animal protein in your diet and the numerous benefits for your health and the planet that can result. Even if you don't have to lose weight, this book is a great resource. Dawn makes it less scary to try some traditional vegetarian foods like tofu and tempeh and offers very simple recipes and meals plans. I highly recommend this book!

The diet is based on the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) scale, a calculus developed by the USD A that measures how well a food protects against free radicals, the culprits behind many forms of cancer, heart disease, and symptoms of aging. Research demonstrates that eating a high- ORAC diet increases the antioxidant power of human blood 10 to 25 percent, strengthening memory and cognition, preventing cancer and heart disease, improving skin, and aiding in weight loss.

The O2 Cleanse kicks things off, maximizing weight loss, inspiring confidence, and delivering immediate results. The 4-week plan builds on initial success and includes simple guidelines for pampering and stress reduction that are proven to enhance weight loss. Plus it gives dieters real-world options for eating out and recipes that allow them to indulge at home with treats such as Chocolate-Covered Pecans and Sangria. This simple program is a positive, empowering new way to approach eating that will leave readers slim, sated and beautiful.

 "Average" 2010-01-04
By wary
After reading a review about this book in a women's magazine I thought that this would be a great book. I ended up buying it and must say that it is perfectly average and that while the information about antioxidants is interesting, the diet plan itself isn't anything you couldn't find in any other book that promotes eating whole natural foods. Also, I would be wary of the first 20 reviews on Amazon as they were all published on the exact same day (coincidentally the same day the book came out - even though some have claimed to be following the diet for a week or more), they all have the same five-star rating and none of the authors have reviewed a book other than one written by Keri Glassman. It looks to me that they might have (although I have no proof) been written by the same person under different pseudonyms.

Other than that its a decent book about healthy eating but besides the antioxidants spin (and it is a good place to get information about the positive effects certain high antioxidant foods have on your body) it doesn't provide much information that isn't already readily available.

"This is the last diet book I will buy!!! It really works!!! Gina" 2009-12-29
By Gina S. (New York)
I come from a nutritional background and let me tell you that "I have read and tried everything on the market." Keri's approach is sound and one that takes a completely different approach on the way we look at food. I have finished the four day detox and I have never felt better. My energy level is off the charts and my stomach is flattening out more each day as I continue with Keri's plan. My friends are all commenting on how great I look and asking what I have done to achieve such a "glow" to my skin. This is a detox that will work because you are eating real food, not just liquids that leave you hungry and in the mood to binge once you have finished. Even after finishing the plan I still make sure to pack some apples with cinnamon or a bag of pecans for energy on the go as Keri suggests in the four day detox. I am inspired by Keri to look at my food choices differently and I know that I will never go back to my old eating habits... Thank you Keri for teaching us about the Orac scale and not just food as a caloric number. I am forever grateful to you and your book and I will continue to practice your plan from now on... This one really works!

"Feel great and Look great!" 2009-12-26
By Brigitte Zeitlin
I'm a very health conscious person who eats well balanced healthy meals regularly, and still the O2 diet is a brand new, eye-opening experience for me. It's the ultimate proof that what you eat affects every part of your life not just your body and weight. Although I am amazed at the weight loss, I am more shocked by how great I feel. I have amazing energy and am so much more alert throughout the day. Even my work-outs are better because of it, which gives me even more of a "health high." I enthusiastically recommend the O2 life to anyone who wants to FEEL great, and look great!

- Easy to Use Interface - Home Cooking uses a simple tabbed interface that is easy to operate while providing all the features you use most. Within minutes you will be adding your own recipes, preparing grocery lists, and planning your meals for the upcoming weeks. Each screen is optimized to make every operation as effortless as possible, while not getting bogged down with seldom used options. You will feel right at home with the familiar style of a traditional cookbook. You can create as many chapters as you wish, and organize your recipes into the chapters you want them in. Home Cookin will keep everything sorted alphabetically so you can quickly browse through your collection, and find your favorites easily.
- Easy Recipe Entry - Most cooking programs force you to use a "fill in the blanks" approach when you add new recipes. This limits flexibility and complicates recipe entry. Many common recipe conventions such as "2 to 3 cups" are difficult to accomodate and make you reformat the recipe to fit the programs available fields.
- Import and Export Capabilities - Thousands of free recipes can be found on web pages, newsgroups, and various mailing lists. You can easily add these to your collection by importing them into Home Cookin. Most standard formats are supported including: Mastercook, Meal-Master, Big-Oven, Cookbook Wizard, From Scratch, From My Kitchen, Living Cookbook, Now You're Cooking, Recipe Processor, and Computer Chef.
- Meal Planning - The meal calendar makes it easy to plan your upcoming meals. Locate your desired recipes, then add them to the calendar. Add personal notes if you plan on eating out, want to indicate a holiday, or to reference recipes in other cookbooks. When you are ready to prepare the meal, you can access the recipe quickly from the meal calendar.
- Grocery Management - The Home Cooking grocery manager will make quick work of preparing your grocery shopping lists. Start a new list, select the items you need, and print. A cost estimate is calculated as you select each item, so you'll know ahead of time how much you'll be spending on your groceries. The printed list is compact and sorted by store and location to make your shopping trip as easy as possible.

 "Not worth the money" 2008-08-23
By Eironic
Yes, there's a lot of solid info, tips and exercises in this book. But here's why it's not worth the money:

Pretty much all the useful info about cardiovascular fitness, the benefits of strength and flexibility training, human anatomy and diet can be found for free online on any creditable fitness website. I've seen all this info online, including the non-customized, middle-of-the-road, low glycemic diet regime, on various sites. If you want this kind of info in book form, you're better off getting Dr Oz's You on a Diet, because you'll get this info and then some in a better layout, plus the emphasis there is on educating you about your health needs, and not looking like some celebrity.

Now, about the layout: Ugh. This is what's really rendered this book useless for me (thankfully, it was a gift!). After the intro about health and the benefits of exercise and a moderately useful "fitness baseline" test to determine just how out of shape you are, the book gives you various 12 week-long workout plans, for different fitness levels and then for different target areas. More about those in a second. In the second half of the book, there's separate workouts designed by different experts for different target areas, plus interval training and stretching, which in theory could be done independently of the workout plans in the front, but would give you a very limited workout, or a rather overwhelming one if you attempted to do them back to back.

You could instead just follow these 12 week-long workout plans in the first part of the book, which obviously attempt to incorporate bits and pieces all these experts' routines in a more comprehensive way. But the problem is, you end up flipping throughout the book to find the exercises you need to do on a particular day (except on rest days). For example, the beginner's workout starts out on Monday with an exercise series on pg 84, then sends you to pg 94, then to pg 104, and then 114, and so on. I suppose after a while you could memorize the routine - that is, unless you just give up and go get some workout DVDs or join a gym (I did try copying the pages to make a little handy packet, but the book's page size was too wide for my copier/printer).

As for the expert routines: the exercises and routines in this book are not exactly new or innovative. You could find these exercises - or ones comparable - online as well. The only thing that makes them at all special is that some celebrity's done them too. The exercises are good, and if done properly, will get you results. But some routines are less practical for the average person than others. For example, I think most people could do Jeanette Jenkins' interval cardio workouts, as the first one requires no equipment and the other requires only one pair of light weights. Ashley Borden's stretching too only requires a mat. But from there things get more complicated. Most of the target area workouts require more than one piece of equip - at least a stability ball, and there's several exercises that call for a medicine ball and/or resistance bands as well. For the "Alluring Arms" workout alone, you'll also need two sturdy chairs and a sturdy bar that can support your weight, plus *all* the other equip I've already mentioned, as well as a partner. Good luck with all that.

I don't see how this book could be that beneficial for anyone: advanced exercisers should be familiar with all this already, while beginners would likely just feel overwhelmed, confused and discouraged. I don't mind the idea of using celebrities as motivation for fitness. But you still have to set realistic goals for yourself, and I don't think this book helps you do that. Frankly, if you need a starting place for your fitness routine, ignore the celebrities for now, and get Dr Oz's book instead to educate yourself about your own fitness needs. Then I would suggest searching online for exercises best suited for your needs and goals. There's also many DVDs that offer equally effective workouts, but in a more accessible way (plus music, visuals and someone to motivate you) and usually require less equip. Or you could just get a gym membership and do these same kind of exercises (and a wider variety of exercises too) with top quality machines and equip that you don't have to store somewhere in your home.

 "Very good workout book!" 2007-03-27
By Laura Swim (Dallas, TX)
Don't be decieved by the cover! Something about the name and the picture on the front threw me. I thought it might be one of those books of how the celebrity worked out and never really explaining the workout to the reader, just so the author could make a quick buck.

This is very well written with weekly workout routines and every exercise has photos to follow up on. They separate your goal into different routines.

What I love most about this book is that they don't use the default strength training moves! They use band resistance (or tubing) and do different, unique moves to tone the body! This is really a workout you could do at home in your living room. You don't need a treadmill, if you have a nice place to walk and run or jump rope even!

The star's trainers, for example, Mike Alexander (Jessica Simpson's trainer) writes a whole section for abs and the exercises he uses. In another chaper, another trainer writes about the best shoulder toning moves.

I felt like the nutrition section wasn't gimmicky or to hard to follow. They were real in their advice, following a natural whole foods diet with fish and lean meats to get your protien.

All in all- I might have an addiction to buying diet and fitness books, but this is a great one to add to my collection. Especially because I love using the Physioball (think that big, pop resistant workout ball) and resistance tubing!
